Will's Background

Since Will can remember, his falls have revolved around college football.

Growing up in the greater Seattle area, Will was surrounded by Washington Husky football. Both of his parents attended the University of Washington and were big Husky fans. His grandfather, however, got to him early and indoctrinated him into the Washington State Cougar fandom.

Growing up, there weren't always many bright spots for Will's beloved Cougs (they never did go 0–12, though), so he learned to appreciate everything college football had to offer. From College Gameday every Saturday, eagerly waiting to see what headgear Lee Corso would don, to the mid-afternoon SEC game on CBS, Will didn't want to miss a minute of it.

Later, while attending Brigham Young University, Will's love for WSU never faded, while his connection to BYU grew. During his time at BYU, a good friend from Knoxville introduced him to the Tennessee Volunteers. And, as Will likes to joke, how can you call yourself a "college football expert" if you don't follow a team from the South? So, naturally, Tennessee became another team to cheer for.

Today, Saturdays in the fall are a special time for Will. From the opening moments of College Gameday to the final West Coast-after-dark game, his eyes are glued to college football.
