Welcome to the 2026 Season

As we sit here today, there are just 35 days until the first college football game of the 2026 season. That's only five Saturdays left to patiently wait, including today.

During the dark winter months of 2026, I spent countless hours thinking about how I could make The College Footblog even better for you, the reader. Now, it's finally time to unveil everything I've been working on.

The most obvious change is the overall rebrand to The College Football Newsletter. This is so much more than just a blog—I want it to be your one-stop shop for everything college football.

You'll notice a new website hosting each week's newsletter, as well as a more direct delivery method. If you choose, you'll be able to read each week's newsletter straight from your email inbox.

In addition, I've launched separate Instagram and X accounts to bring you more consistent content throughout the week. Follow along if you'd like, and keep an eye out for breaking news, games to watch, instant reactions, and much more college football coverage.

Just like last year, each week's newsletter will arrive in your inbox every Monday morning. It'll include virtually all the same content as last season, just in a better format.

Throughout the week, I'll post previews of upcoming games, breaking news, and live reactions on social media, but no additional newsletters will be sent until the following Monday. I want to respect your time and appreciate your support by not flooding your inbox with multiple emails each week. One newsletter a week feels like the right balance.
